2026年天下杯扩军至48队

外洋足联北京工夫1月11日在苏黎世厚爱书记，自2026年起，天下杯参赛球队将从现时32队扩军至48队。这使得外洋足联的211个成员当中，将有接近四分之一的国度足球队不错参加天下杯决赛圈。

FIFA, soccer's world governing body, has approved a grand plan to revolutionize the World Cup by increasing the number of teams from 32 to 48. 外洋足联通过天下杯要紧翻新筹办，将参赛球队从现时的32支扩大为48支。

The FIFA Council agreed unanimously to the move Tuesday, with the new format starting in 2026. 外洋足联理事会一致通过该项动议，新的比赛规格将从2026年开动。

现时的天下杯赛制中，共有32支球队参赛，小组赛等分红8个小组，每组4队（eight groups of four），小组赛遴选单轮回制，各组前两名晋级至16强进行淘汰赛（the top two going through the last 16 knockout round），终末决出冠军。

扩军后赛制有何变化？

天下杯扩军（World Cup expansion）后，小组赛将会分红16个小组，每组3队（16 groups of three），遴选单轮回赛制（each nation will play the others in its group once），前两名晋级至32强淘汰赛（the top two progressing to the 32-team knockout stage），直至决出冠军。扩军后，天下杯的一起比赛从32队参赛的64场加多至80场，不外扫数赛程仍然为32天（The number of games will rise from 64 to 80, but the competition will remain at 32 days in length）。

天下杯扩军后，新增的16个限额若何分派（the allocation of the extra 16 slots），尚待外洋足联进一步参议。现时，足球天下被折柳红六个大洲足联，每个足联领有不同数目的天下杯席位，具体分派情况为：欧洲13席、非洲5席、亚洲4.5席、大洋洲0.5席、南好意思洲4.5席、中北好意思及加勒比3.5席、人1席。

谁是受益者？

外洋足联：天下杯扩军会为外洋足联极度带来近10亿好意思元的收入（pull in close to an extra $1bn in revenue）。

小国度和在出线边际的国度（the smaller nations and those on the fringes of qualification）：在外洋足联211个成员国当中，亚洲和非洲国度占110个，可是这两个洲的足联活着界杯中的席位却显著偏少。这次扩军，亚非两洲或有契机赢得更多席位。
